The OBELISK: Number of Questions in An Assessment

Another question that has come up was why do we choose 10 questions per assessment?

Let us be clear that we can be totally flexible and some assessments have as many as 50 questions. For example, it is now becoming quite common for clients who are interviewing a potential new member of staff to ask us to put up an assessment for the interview and typically this will be between 20 and 50 questions.

The regular assessments are not meant to be gruelling, and consider that 10 questions per month over the period of the year means that the gap analysis actually comprises 120 questions in that period. In our opinion, this is a far more useful appraisal of what someone knows and in our experience means less pressure and more efficiency in doing the job of treating customers fairly.
